Ask Us First is campaigning to bring about a referendum of the British people before the European Union Treaty is enforced in this country.

The European Union Treaty proposes a radical extension of the power of the European Union and further encroachment on the sovereign powers of the member states. It also gives the European Union its own legal personality. The purpose of the Ask Us First campaign is to see that the British People make the decision on the United Kingdom's ratification of the treaty by the holding of a referendum.
